What is one thing most people do not know about your business that would surprise him/her?
That we have been in business 142 years and are still owned by the original family.
What do you enjoy most about doing business in your district/community?
We love Norfolk and have always had our business in this wonderful city and the people of the community.
What do you enjoy most about doing business in Hampton Roads?
The community and area in general (location, climate, beaches, water, etc.)
What challenges do you face as a business owner?
Currently down economy and poor housing market.
What’s in store for your business in the future?
Hopefully, a better economy and housing market.
What could local government do to help small business owners in your business district (besides lower taxes)?
All the local governments should work more closely together to bring more business to Hampton Roads and address business interests, i.e. transportation issues.
What is one thing your business district needs?
Safety.
