Homemakers, professionals.

What is one thing most people do not know about your business that would surprise him/her?
That we sell very unique gift items and home décor, an that we carry Hampton Roads’ largest selection of frame samples.

What do you enjoy most about doing business in your district/community?
I love my customers. I enjoy framing their life memories. Also, having the opportunity to bond with other business owners.

What do you enjoy most about doing business in Hampton Roads?
The water, the military, being near the peers I grew up with.

What challenges do you face as a business owner?
Hard economic times, global and regional. Identifying new customers – especially corporate ones.

What’s in store for your business in the future?
Re-growth, employing more people. Hoping to inspire shopping local and supporting each others business in the area.

What could local government do to help small business owners in your business district (besides lower taxes)?
Help promote regional marketing. Helping small businesses connect with conventions, events, etc.

What is one thing your business district needs?
More retail, less service and food industry. More police presence.
