What is one thing most people do not know about your business that would surprise him/her?
People would be surprised at the stress/pressure involved in floral business. Time factors for funerals, anniversaries, birthdays … Most people think the flower shop is simply pretty, fragrant and easy going.
What do you enjoy most about doing business in your district/community?
Our customers and business neighbors.
What challenges do you face as a business owner?
The Internet as people attempt to order fresh flowers online.
What’s in store for your business in the future?
Enjoying our outdoor tented area and looking forward to utilizing it seasonal décor.
What could local government do to help small business owners in your business district (besides lower taxes)?
Work to tax Internet sales. Our customers pay taxes here – the Internet needs to charge tax!
