How would you describe your business?
We sell recycled and remanufactured printer cartridges to home and business consumers.

Briefly describe your typical client/customer.
Home consumers within 5 mils of our store and small and medium size businesses throughout Hampton Roads.

What is one thing most people do not know about your business that would surprise him/her?
The vast majority of our cartridges are remanufactured in our stores from cartridges returned by our customers or collected for cash by over 30 non-profits in Hampton Roads.

What do you enjoy most about doing business in your district/community?
Ghent is a family community and we treat and are treated by our customers like family.

What do you enjoy most about doing business in Hampton Roads?
Helping businesses control costs.

What challenges do you face as a business owner?
Educating the consumers on the benefits of remanufacturing.

What’s in store for your business in the future?
We will continue to grow at our existing location and will likely add a location in 2 or in the next 5 years.

What could local government do to help small business owners in your business district (besides lower taxes)?
It would be nice to know that local government, state government, or the Federal government really cared about small businesses. No where, for instance, is anyone looking at the impact on small businesses of implementing tolls on all the bridges and tunnels.

What is one thing your business district needs?
More small, local retail.
